Welcome to Sokaki!
Sokaki has been and is the meeting point for visitors and locals alike. More than a “café bar”, it is part of the modern history of Nafplion.
A "Haunt" from the beginning of its life in the 1980’s, it is one of the oldest cafes in town, memories and images of many years in a neighbourhood that seems to embrace and make it “hotter” with each guest or patron passing through the doorsteps.
Our Trademarks - the flapjack savory dishes and Crepes made with love to “charge the batteries” and then to explore the rest of the old town of Nafplion and Psaromahala.
It seems that all roads lead to Sokaki - perhaps it is so.
Walking from there you can see that it has all of the city of Nafplion to offer: being centrally located, the Archaeological Museum and not very far away, the church where Kapodistrias – the first Governor of Greece, was assassinated.
The monuments, streets and images are all an inspiration to the visitor.
The Sokaki Café is unique because it has been made with love and emotion, respect and a space of history.
A little trip for every coffee or drink.
We expect to begin the next journey together.
